Born in 1991 as a criterium dedicated to the end of Claudy Criquielion's sporting career, the Criquielion Grand Prix has continued to evolve over the years.
First in the form of national interclubs, then in the 1.6 UCI race, a round of the Belgian Hopes Cup, a round of the Lotto Top Compétition and more recently in the 1.2 UCI category, our event has become a must in the cycling season. in Belgium.
For 2023, the Criquielion Grand Prix will evolve in the UCI 1.1 class, joining the group of professional races such as Samyn, Binche-Chimay-Binche, ... A new dimension!
But Claudy deserves all our efforts to offer her a pro race in her name!
